Can you buy anything useful with money?

I have $36k and I've found no use for it other than buying ammo and health, all the guns and shields you can buy are useless and overpriced, is there eventually anything worth buying?

Wow, thanks man, I didn't know the slots were so awesome, got a purple gun, a stack of iridium and it's kinda fun :D

you have to tip her 15k for the first gun wait til she stops talking then another 15k for the 2nd gun

You're going to need a lot more money if you want to get some Good Touches. It isn't always 15K per gun. Sometimes I spend 100K+, and still end up with no gun. --And then I ALT+F4 out, so I don't lose my 100K for nothing. :p

I got something called miss moxxi's bad touch, it looks beastly and has great stats and I love how rapidly it fires, I'm now down to 11k :L Lets hope I don't die too much to be able to afford health and ammo :')

That's the first gun she'll give you. Awesome stats, right? You'll get Good Touches from here on out, if you keep tipping her. They're basically the Bad Touch, but it's incendiary instead of corrosive, and it doesn't have the Bad Touch's scope. I also read that Good Touches heal your life when you hit enemies with it. Don't know if the Bad Touch does the same though.
