Maya's voice reverting to male's voice

Every damn time I start a game Maya's voice (my character) changes to a dudes. I leave the game and check the game cache and restart steam. BL2 has to download and install one corrupt file... OK everything's fixed, but when I log out of Steam again or restart my computer I have a corrupt audio file again that causes Maya to sound like a dude.

It's not a huge problem, but it's really annoying. Anyone else have this issue? Any fixes?

Yes, I've checked my disc for corrupt sectors and it's 100% healthy.

But, I've completed both quests. Still makes no sense why I'm having to repair corrupt files.

LOL... thanks... I just reinstalled the game and everything seems to be fine. Thank goodness for steam cloud saves.

this happened to my guns - whenever i used my robot gun all my other guns would have the voice too

so annoying, so i sold the damn robot gun

I'm pretty sure that gun still talks when it's sitting in your inventory. So what happened to you wasn't a bug.
