Display Issues - need help

Okay, so I'm having an issue with my display settings.

I once changed the windowed mode from fullscreen to windowed, and ever since it has screwed up the way the game is displayed. Instead of having my normal field of view and being able to see my full gun/vehicle/HUD/inventory, everything seems so much more in-your-face. This super-close display was cutting off parts of the screen.

When I switched it back to full screen, my monitor was black on the bottom half and showing half of the game on the upper half. I don't know what the hell happened, but I tried screwing around with the settings for a while. I tried resetting it to default settings and then going from there. I changed resolutions, I changed the field of view, I changed the HUD borders (which, with my original settings, caused this screw-up to make my HUD to extend past the left and right of the screen), I changed all kinds of things.

I had to restart my computer a couple times, but the screen is somewhat fixed. The game is now playable again, as the game isn't halfway off-screen anymore, and I adjusted my field of view, HUD, etc. to make it look decent enough, but it just seems like there's something wrong. I can't see as much as I know I should be able to, and that bugs me. Everything on-screen still feels waaay closer than it originally was, and I can't figure out how to fix it.

If anyone has any tips on how to fix this issue, any help would be greatly appreciated.
