Split Decision: Moxxxi or Marcus?

I just completed a mission where i had to retrieve some erotic photos of Moxxxi after Marcus asked me to find his crate. Now it gives me the chance to either return the photos to Moxxxi or return them to Marcus. What happens if i give them to Moxxxi? if i give them to Marcus?

Marcus gives you a relic. So far, all relics have sucked for me so I never chose relic rewards. The Moxxi shotgun is awesome though. I got a blue, flame shotgun with a 17 round magazine. Chews through enemies easily.

I've read on the Gearbox Forum that your best choice is Moxxi for the shotgun.

IIRC, the Marcus reward is just a relic that causes item selection in vendors to change more frequently, which you can already do simply by leaving & returning. Always go with a Moxxi selection since the guns are good and always replenish health.

Because of this, you should never, ever equip a different relic.

It only increases probability of green instead of white (about 90%), and the probability of it upgrading anything beyond green is far too negligable to give up your relic slot for, making it useless after the first few levels.

Marcus gives relic to speed up the timer of item of the day, meh. Moxxie give a shotgun that is pretty good, I did Marcus one time, never again.

I prefer the Sheriff's Badge once I get it.
