I know this is kinda resolved, but... Can we get an updated guide of the python thing for newbies? :D Would be awesome cause I tried it several times but couldnt make it work. 10 sens is high af...
Never mind, i got it fully working on my game right now. I used this guide https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1627064149 which is based on this discussion, so shout out to 13lackLily for making this easy to follow guide and the author of the script.

Anyways, here is some advice that helped me follow this guide:

When you are locating your sens in hexadecimal . So, my recomendation here and what allowed me to found this easily was to just before opening your profile.bin, open your game and set your in game sens to 15... That way, just gotta find for the 0F hex number and make a note of it by marking down its hexidecimal offset. If you highlight the byte with the sens HxD will give you the location, or "offset", in the bottom left corner. Doesn't matter that you choose 15, cause it will change to ur desired sens when you use the script.

Some users report that their characters progress is gone . That didn't happen to me and shouldn't happen to you but just in case... Always make a backup of your profile.bin file.

Very important to do this . Change this 2 lines of code to make this work:

PROFILE_PATH="C:\\Users\\{0}\\Documents\\My Games\\Borderlands 2\\WillowGame\\SaveData\\" (make sure this is typed with double \)
and
config[0x11A-20]=mouse_sensi (only change 11A with the offset you were given when you found the 0F value that i mentioned before).

I can say that it works for me 2 of 3 times ( it works with 5 and 7 sens. 6 sens didn't work maybe cause i did something wrong). I recommend you to repeat the process with 15 sens in game for every sens you try.

Now 7 sens on 800dpi just feels right for me so thank you again to the authors of all the guides out there, it really helped me a lot, especially the one i mentioned the first, so well explained.

Since "Borderlands Enhanced" has been released, i found myself frustrated at the high sensitivity even at lowest in-game settings. I tried using my mouse DPI at 400 instead of 800, but everytime there was an in-game menu with a courser, it was too slow. Changing from 400 to 800 all the time was not cool.
So i looked up at my original Borderlands files and found that i changed the sensitivity in the config file...
Just go to:

C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\Documents\My Games\Borderlands Game of the Year\WillowGame\Config\WillowInput.ini

You can open it with a text editor, i use Notepad++.
Right at the top, no need to scroll down, you have the sensitivity settings...
Change them as you need.

I changed them to these values:

MouseSensitivity=8.0
MouseSensitivityVertical=8.0
ScopedMouseSensitivity=8.0
ScopedMouseSensitivityVertical=8.0

Aim will be with better sensitivity and in the in-game menus, it will be normal.
Note that i also change the line with "Mouse Smoothing" to FALSE.

bEnableMouseSmoothing=False

When I do this and save the file nothing changes? Granted...I changed the ingame Mouse-Sensitivity to 10 already but that file was still at 60, not sure what is going wrong there.

That means that you're editing the wrong file. There is a "default file" and "your file". I don't have the game installed right now so can't tell you the names but that's basically why you're seeing 60 when using 10. Or maybe it just straight up doesn't work because of some new patches.

You could also tinker your game with "Borderlands Community Mod Manager" and "Uncapped Pause Menu Settings" if you're feeling adventurous.
