I stayed subbed so I could see any possible fixes etc too many games with issues like this and when you have a lot of games, keeping track becomes a part time job which I'm not paid for.
So necrorise together!
So i looked up at my original Borderlands files and found that i changed the sensitivity in the config file...
Just go to:
C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\Documents\My Games\Borderlands Game of the Year\WillowGame\Config\WillowInput.ini
You can open it with a text editor, i use Notepad++.
Right at the top, no need to scroll down, you have the sensitivity settings...
Change them as you need.
I changed them to these values:
MouseSensitivity=8.0
MouseSensitivityVertical=8.0
ScopedMouseSensitivity=8.0
ScopedMouseSensitivityVertical=8.0
Aim will be with better sensitivity and in the in-game menus, it will be normal.
Note that i also change the line with "Mouse Smoothing" to FALSE.
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
The instruction just blows my mind and I have no clue. "Hex edit your game"? "Again"? "BLCMM"?
Apparently, there are at least two other programs involved...
Here is a short video on how to hex edit your executeable and enable the console:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VGrfLGl83w Once it is done you do not need to do it again unless you reinstall the game.
To run a mod you need to download one and place it into the borderlands 2\Binaries folder. Then you can run mods by opening up the console in the main menu and writing "exec modname.txt". The file extension is required in the command which in this case is just .txt.
The most obvious place for mods is https://www.nexusmods.com/borderlands2/mods/ but there are also other places like https://github.com/BLCM/BLCMods/tree/master/Borderlands%202%20mods.
BLCMM (BorderLands Community Mod Manager) is a tool which allows you to mainly quickly tune mods or merge them with each other. Like some mods have tick boxes for different settings so that you do not need to go deep into the file for changes. You can download it from here https://www.nexusmods.com/borderlands2/mods/61.
Here is also another download link for it in the description.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VkRgUqru3oU But more importantly this is something that you should watch if you're interested in using BLCMM. However if you know a thing or two about computers you can probably figure it out by yourself just by looking around the interface.
You can find it here:

Works pretty much the same as in windrolds.
You can use dhex as an hex editor. It's very easy to use and should be available on all distros. The first time you run it will ask for all the key bindings. Then search for the corresponding hex value of the sensitivity and just take note of the address on the upper left corner. No need to add values!
search "mouseacceleration" and see if you find the site, since the community guidelines don't want me to help others directly with this problem. Good luck!
I want the admin or whoever to give people the chance to find this software.
Just lost a few saves with probably 20+ hours on them.
Kind of a shame that trolls are around and thanked but what can you do oh well. Was just looking for a way to make the game playable without lowering my DPI by a ton every time i go to play. Doesn't bother me that much the save was from 2018 anyways.
Update: Just remembered i backed up my Documents to the cloud so i'm lucky.
