i myself did BRAWN and RAMPAGE but to each there own
Yeah my other main Gunzerker is Gun Lust/ Rampage, but he's not nearly as much fun to play as my Mini-Brick! Plus he relies on loot so much more to be effective.
Max out Brawn (except the unneeded Just Got Real and Out of Bubblegum skills) and then take either Filled to the Brim or Inconceivable (doesn't really matter but I go with FttB) so you can max out Last Longer, I'm Ready Already, and grab Yippee Ki Yay. Now max out All in the Reflexes and take the ever fun Double Your Fun and you're good to go. You will still be levelling and gaining more points but it really doesn't matter what you take. I do like Get Some but if you want to take skills to take advantage of a certain Class Mod then go for it.
Now run around pretending you're Brick and punch 'em in the face. Game ownage, you rule.
Sal has the best skill selection among all the classes in game, all of his trees are very good but certain skills are gamechangers. Additionally when you put emphasis on one skill, he'll benefit more from certain skill combos more than he'd do otherwise.
For instance, if you're going with a shield that's either always (DLC3 Rough Rider) or almost always empty (vanilla's Love Thumper), you should cap Out Of Bubblegum, Inconceiveable from Rampage and Money Shot from Gun Lust, skip FttB because it will decrease the number of money shots you'll get. This is just an example, there's a lot more to it. Hard to tell which tree is the best one unless you can describe a gameplay style you'd like to play.
Respecctng is cheaper than dieing, so try some different approaches.
A tree where slikks build their nests.
Hmmm... and here I thought it was a tree that slikk paper is made from. Learn something new everyday!
I'm not really playing Sal that much, thus I won't argue pistol builds superiority.
I fail to see what's good about I'm Your Huckleberry however, pretty much the worst skill in Gunlust. Considering there's a at least one better option in each tier of rampage and brawn I can't understand wasting a single point in it.
