Co op mod that makes spawns less cheap?
I was wondering if there was a mod that made spawns only happen at checkpoints or something? I am sick of the games "I died? No biggie" attitude and I really want to enjoy playing this.

If dying makes the game un-enjoyable for your experience, you may want to stick to Normal or TVHM. And if you're not referring to UVHM, it may be a good time to take a break and try again later.

"Hyperion suggests that you rejoice in your temporary death. A victory achieved without suffering is no victory at all."

I want MORE penaltiess for dying, right now I feel like I can brute force through any battle with enough time. I want to have to go to a check point to get my fallen (Not downed completely dead) teammates back or something such as that. Right now me and my friend can easily just rush into the fight cycling out and we win. I find it boring and with the fact I usually find better loot than I can buy, the loss of money is no issue at all.

You can play solo, the enemies recover full health if you die. Solo you will find the challenge you are looking for.

But I don't want to have to give up the fun of playing with a friend for this.

There is a slider availabe to make the game more difficult for single player that tricks the game into scaling the enemies to 2, 3 or 4 player stats. But I don't know if it works in co-op.

it works in co-op, clkwrks:

Thanks LoboFH.

That doesn't help the fact that in multi we can just brute force our way through things, if two guys die the other two just hide in cover till the others game back.
NewTroll 20 września 2013 o 10:58
Brute force tactics are fine in Normal and TVHM but in UVHM+ you're going to have to start learning real tactics to succeed. Good luck.

edit: added the word "real"

You're right. You would still be able to tag team your way through the game, it'd just take longer.

UVHM's enemey health regen will certainly put a damper on the tag team opperation. While waiting for co-op partners to respawn enemies will be healing.
Piotyr 20 września 2013 o 11:28
But UVHM will cause the balance which is already made with the easy to revive nature of the game in mind to be insanely damning.
NewTroll 20 września 2013 o 11:45
Damning for you, correct. For then you will have to learn how to actually play the game instead of relying on constant spawning to push your way through. Good luck and have fun!

UVHM will absolutely change the way you play the game. Since it scales to your level + a few, you will have to change your tactics, even with a "tag team" partner. Out of curiosity, have you attempted UVHM yet?
