Possible to get RU version removed?

Basically my brother got stung with a Russian version of the game in a dodgy trade, so he can't play it.

So does anyone know if there is away to get it deleted from his account? we don't want it replaced or refunded we just wont it gone so we can purchase it properly.

RU version comes as two - international and russian-ghetto one. do you mean he can't play international version?

RU version comes with 2 games actually. One called Borderlands 2 and one called Borderlands 2 RU (so you 2 entries in library). You can play both games - there are no limitations apart your Russian language skills. There is no need to remove RU version (cause why?). If you ask to remove RU version then normal version will be removed as well, becasue they are a bundle.

How did you manage to do that? RU version can't even be purchased as a gift.

Sorry but neither the RU or so-called International versions launch, both give him the same error.

How he managed to do that? I really have no idea, he isn't the brightest spark of the fire =/
I don't know what you are trying to imply though, I want to coop with him but can't, so it kind of is my issue (and not using my brother as an excuse for my mess up)

Well, that sucks, as the first guy said, the only way to remove it would be through steam support.

I guess so, I sent a ticket but I don't expect a reply any time soon, if it takes too long we'll just buy it on a new account, which is what we wanted to avoid, oh well.

Support will remove the game for you so you can purchase the correct version. Just make sure you explained the situation to them in a way that makes them understand you are not after an exchange or refund just for it to be removed.
