Raid Boss Rating
I want to try and go through most of the Raid bosses. I just wanted an opinion as to which is the easiest and the hardest raid boss. Thanx in advance

They are actually all about the same. I'd say dragons are the most annoying one though.
Pyro Pete is one of the easy ones. Dex is also pretty easy if you have an infinity and a bee shield. Dragons are one of the tougher ones to fight. Voracidious is in my opinion the hardest...

From easiest to hardest.

1. Terramorphous
2. Pyrocaustic Pete
3. Hyperius
4. Master Gee
5. Ancient Dragons.
6. Voracidous.

Pete is the easiest and voracidous is the hardest. Gee is the most annoying and boring.

Depends on the character you're going to use against them, resorting to cheapo glitches or not and the gear available.

You can't really fail with Vermi and Dex, since they retain the damage between your deaths.

I'd start with Pete. He's generally the easiest boss regardless of class, mainly because he's the most consistent one.

Vora is the one that can get pretty frustrating, dragons not so much but it's more of a class related thing as already mentioned.

voracidous is the hardest??!! i killed him at lvl 35 before i could kill hyperious.

Pyro Pete is the easier one, for any class.

Pete is the only one that I've defeated, and considering my skill level, I'd say that means he's the easiest. Other, more experienced people have said that Voracidious is the most difficult, but as I've only fought Pete, Voracidious, and the Dragons (and gotten my arse kicked by two out of the three), I can't confirm nor deny this.

Rated easiest to hardest, also take into account I main the Psycho so this could vary between characters.

1) Pete
2) Vermi (Although if you count spawning him, I'd put him at the bottom of this list)
3) Terry
4) Dexi
5) Dragons
6) Gee (So borring though)
7) Hyperius
8) Vora

Difficulty can be class dependant. Here is my opinons based on group play. The group is a Gunzerker, a Psycho and an Assasin (me)

The 3 we do the most are Pete, Hyperius and the Dragons.

The Dragons used to kick our butts until we understood how the fights mechanics work. Now we beat them no problem. We kill them in this order: Shock, Fire, Corrosive then Slag. The lootsplosion after is full of glorious goodies, so worth the time put into the fight! From hella hard to dirt easy!

Pete is just managing the nasty DoT he puts on you when he goes Pyrocaustic. He is probaly the easiest.

Hyperius seems to be in the middle. His Nova can drop me stone dead yet the other two have better ways to regain health. I just hope I can do some damage with good ol B0re and get him down before he jumps around lol. If I do go down its no worries, the Psycho TEDIORES the crap out of him!

Gee is a rather meh fight. The acid pool mechanics can get annoying. We rather do the above bosses.

Terramorphous takes long to kill and isnt too difficult. The super smash brothers arena knockouts do get anoying lol. If he didnt knock you out of the map I wold rate him Pete easy.

Voracidous... yeah we havent beat him yet... that stupid nova! I'd rate him the hardest!

We have not fought Vermi or Dexi yet. Vermi just looks to be a paaaain to spawn and omg Eridium for Dexi lol.

Quick (and slightly off topic) question: does Boost leveling up the other three Dragons and slagging players make the fight much harder? Most guides I see recommend killing Boost and Healianth as soon as possible, then targeting Incinerator, and finally, killing Booth. I can see why having Boost alone would make the last part of the fight way easier, but I would think that Slagging and letting the other dragons level up would make the first part a grindfest.

im not counting gee in with anyone cause he's basically a class of his won, and only the gunzerker can actually do enough dmg to make a significant difference compared to the others. (and maya glitchspotting and immobeehawking, but that's not a legit method imo)
im also not counting dex in cause who the ♥♥♥♥ fight this guy for one, and even if you do, its basically the same stupid ♥♥♥♥ no matter what character you're using. im also not including vermi, because i dont have much experience with him, and also he is very forgiving, and even if you die a lot you will eventually get him, and you can really compare that to the other raid bosses.

sniping zero (no bee)

pete
hyperious
dragons
terra
vorac (everyone besides him is pretty easy with sniping zero, so everyone but vorac is almost equally easy. the fight vorac is the only one where you gonna wanna have prestack of critical ascension)

melee zero

pete
hyperious
vorac
terra
dragons (its not really that hard, but the ai is terrible so its really inconsistent)

maya (no bee/norfleet)

hyperious
vorac
terra
pete (its not any hard but it takes long because she cant immolate him)
dragons

axton (no bee/norfleet)

hyperious
vorac
pete
terra
dragons

krieg (no bloodsplosions)

pete
hyperious
terra
vorac
dragons

gaige

pete
vorac
terra
dragons
hyperious

salvador (no bee/norfleet)

everybody is equally easy for him.

its a matter of personal preference really, that's how i personally feel about the raid fights. i might be saying something that's wrong, and ranking up an easy kill for some character higher than it should be, but that's how it goes for me at least, using the strategies that i know of.

They only use their special ability when they land. You shoot at the dragon you want to come down. If you dont make Boost land, it doesnt level the other dragons up! With all the other dragons dead, Boost has nothing to level up. It cant level itself up.

If you don't melee, then take out Boost first. You should be able to take care of him the first time he lands. So beating rest of the dragons at 65 is not much more harder than them at 64. If you melee, its a completely different story. Boost takes 3 or 4 landings to kill, and beating 3 dragons at 67 and 68 is almost impossible. So leave him till last if you plan to melee them.

I hear all the times that Voracidous is the hardest raid boss but he is relatively easy. The Trespasser (Sniper which ignores shields) is the solution: You need to kill the shaman before he can give his shield to Vorac. For the rest you can use a good fire weapon.
