Modding Weapons doesnt work cause of the new update
I always liked that you can build your own weapons with "Gibbeds Save Editor"

The new update changed something now and i cant find my modded weapons in the safe.

Anyone has an idea?

They patched modded weapons out of the game in the latest update.

This is the text "Added safeguards to better protect players against hacked items and weapons -- invalid items will now be automatically removed from a player's inventory."
You can find the full update notes here

So Gearbox destroyed everything , the should leave my game files alone

For Multiplayer its good but NOT for Singleplayer -.-

I would seriously stop this conversation right now. If a mod catches you, you will all be banned from the forum.

Why should they ban us ?

Modding Bl2 Singleplayer is not a crime

There is no such thing as single player in Borderlands. And modding is considered cheating by the mods here.

they only delete weapons that are not possible in the game if it could happen it will not be deleted

There is no such thing as single player? Really? That's funny because I capped seven toons to level 61 in single player. Were there guardian angels following me around that I wasn't aware of? There is nothing wrong with using Gibbed to create weapons or items as long as they actually exist in the script library of the game. It's no different then duping or even just giving someone a weapon. What the fix eliminates are the "black" weapons that do not exist in the library, like a Norfleet that fires a thousand rounds at a time. Those are hacks and are definately frowned upon by GB and I would say anyone who plays on a public game.

That's what disappeared from your bank. If you want to create a regular Lyuda or CC well then tear it up. It makes no difference to the script library and it doesn't affect any public game as long as it actually exists like any other item in the Borderlands Universe. Now as to the ethics of doing that well that's a tired and old story that only you can decide.

What people call "Single Player" in Borderlands 2 is really just Multiplayer with one player in the server. That's why we can get class mods for characters we don't have the DLC for (Psycho and Mechromancer), because if a Psycho or Mechromancer dropped into the game, they'd be able to get loot just like anyone else.

So, I agree with Pocah, there is no true single player in BL2.

offline could be called single player and the store page clearly says single player

What are you talking about, its a single player game with coop mode.

Its like saints row, and its why cheating basically doesn't matter that much, we'lre not talking a mmporg or whatever.

I think they did a good thing and Randy does support simple mods, like just bringing your shield up to your level, which should not be considered cheating at all.

It's a co-op game that can be played single player. And just because you play a character single player doesn't mean it can never be played co-op. If there was an option to make a character single player upon creation then I doubt this would be any sort of issue. Unfortunately there isn't and it is.

Well I play offline most of the time so what do you call that? There is no server with the ethernet cable disconnected. And yes dude, I understand the menutia of the network architechture of the game. I just choose not to connect to it, ergo single player.

A truly multiplayer game would require an online connection to play the game and this does not.
