I cant get to terramorphous boss

I know you have to beat the game and all and I did on true vault huntermode with my mechro but when I goto thousand cuts or whatever its called and I get the the opening I cant use any eridium to open the door, i just dont have the option.Also people tell me true vault hunter mode is a DLC which i never bought but I can play it but Im stuck at level 50 the whole time.Anyway maybe its my level im not sure any suggestions

ultimate vault hunter is the dlc, and to get to terra you need a quest from i think tannis

Indeed, as Erebus said, after you've beaten the game (on any mode) you need to go to the Crimson Raider's base in Sanctuary and speak with Tannis who then gives you the quest, "You. Will. Die. (Seriously)."

Yeah, any random guy at lvl 50 can just take up whatever weps they have on them on go destroy terra solo! Hahaha-no.
Sure, terra is easy compared to Master Gee or such (Wait, everything is easy compared to Master Gee.) but he's still a very powerful raidboss, and even experienced players with a loadout and spec designed for taking him down still won't have 100% consistency to do so.

dont know about 50s.. i have only 61 chars ;)

since the first time i never had any problems with him. master gee also, only vora kicked my as sometimes at the beginning.

but if u know how, its easy, isnt it?

i would say tannis gives you the quest but it looks like u got the message by now
