Krieg and Maya?

Anyone else think other than the inner voice that was fighting with Krieg's insanity, he became a Vault Hunter for Maya? Or his fascination with her?

Well...
Krieg's inner self was a Vault Hunter before he met Maya. He was captured by Hyperion and experimented on until he "broke" and eventually escaped. This is why his inner voice mentions things about helping people once and being paid in loot. This is also why Krieg's wanted poster crime is "Hyperion Property."

Krieg's inner voice met Maya after Krieg spotted her after being nearly run over by a train. At this point, inner Krieg mentioned her beauty ( I perfer Lilith, myself ) and urged Krieg to talk to her so she could help them get rid of the psycho psyche that he has now.

And to touch on Siren's. Only six Sirens are able to exist in the universe at any given point in time. So far in the Borderlands series, we've seen four, two of which are dead now. Even if Krieg and Maya were to get together and have children, there is a very unlikely chance that they would birth a Siren child.

Well, i'd assume the other two are born and somewhere else in the universe, and Steele died about seven years before BL2, so maybe another siren has already been born. This would leave only one to be born, the one replacing Angel.

Where did you find this info? I've been looking for this in-depth of information about the Vault Hunters and have not been able to find any.

I beleive jack says so in an echo log . He was complaning that bandits keep bringing random dead chicks to his office with fake magic marker siren tattoos. He says they aren't fooling him and that there are only 6 sirens at a time and he knows of 3.
