How often does Borderlands 2 go on sale?

Hi all,

I have Borderlands 2 and the Season Pass already (bought it in the Steam Summer Getaway Sale 2013), as do my friends and we have been playing the game nonstop for the last few days. We have just completed the game, but the problem is, they don't have all the DLC.

One of them had the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack and Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, the other didn't, so I bought him those two as well so we could all play some more (I would have bought them each the Season Pass while the sale was on, but it seemed kind of pointless once one of them had gone ahead and bought two individual DLC's for some reason).

I really am not going to fork out colossal amounts of money to buy them all the remaining DLC each at full price; I am rather hoping that Borderlands 2 will come around on sale again. I am just unsure how long this timeframe will be, considering how the game is still popular on Steam, thus Valve are likely to be tentative about putting it on sale due to how well it sells regardless of a sale being on.

So I ask you guys (who have probably had the game longer than I) - how often does Borderlands 2 come on sale? Can we expect it some time soon, or do they never put it up for sale outside summer/winter sales i.e. no Weekend Deals or Daily Deals?

They have reduced the price alot over the past 6 months.I wouldn't expect it to go on sale soon.

So the general consensus here is that Valve are unlikely to put it on sale again (at least in the near future)?

No problem - it may be a good idea to stop playing for a while anyway, unless we risk getting burnt out on the game. If we come back to it in a couple of months (hopefully the game will have seen a price drop some point during our hiatus) the game should hopefully remain fresh; with the feeling reinforced by the plethora of DLC to play through!
