Dahl weapons.

My opinion.

Okay to me all of the Dahl guns are very..... weak/poor..... Now why i say this? Well....

First off the guns usually never have decent damage, even though the guns burst fire the guns still don't feel like they're doing anything with each burst. Yes, I understand that the guns are for frequent accurate head/critical shots. But even with each shot connecting to an enimies critical spot. The damage still feels.... "meh".

Dahl guns are going to be really useless during Fight4YourLife because the guns are made for zooming in! Which you can't do in fight for your life! So you're using a dahl pistol that shoots one bullet every (Gonna guess) 1.75 seconds, without any kind of damage trying to get a kill....
Heck even the SMGs aren't even that good though automatic it's still abit slow...

The snipers.. When most people use a sniper they're going to use the scopre right? When most people use a sniper they're going for a critical/head shot. which should take no more than two shots to get the kill right? So why use a burst fire sniper (That doesn't even sound right!) which doesn't even have that good damage a sniper should have, AND thegun is just eating away at your sniper ammo because you're probably wasting bullets.

This is just something to throw in. I don't usually find Dahl weapons with an element. (I don't remember if they do come with an element).

So i thought i'd leave this off on a good note... Dahl weapons usually have nice textures/looks/skins. Easy to come by (Well atleast in my opinion) if you're needing a weapon. And though it's weird they burst fire, the Dahl snipers are pretty effective against Crystalisks (I beleive that's how it's spellt) , Constructors, and maybe a boss.


Alright so that's what i've got to say, I'd like feedback on your opinion. I'd prefer positive but i'll accept negative comments (Just be negative in a good tone please...).

The low recoil makes for some effective and rather accurate attacks if you can pull off repeated criticals and the fairly decent reload time makes up for shots that go wide in a burst. (I never usually find it much of a trouble keeping ammo stocked for most gun types.) Elemental variants usually have good damage potential, on par with some Maliwan models even if you get a good drop, and slag guns have high percentage chance. It's not uncommon to find 50% chance to slag on rifles for example, in my game at least.

That's pretty much the purpose for a Dahl weapon. But everytime I use a dahl weapon.... the damage just never cuts it.

But I will say.... The Emporer (Sorry if that's spelt wrong) I loved that gun, and it was Dahl....

When it comes to Dahl, i use thier sniper rifles (Sloth mainly), and Assault Rifles. The Scorpio rifle with my Commando is actually a great combination, very stable and accurate. Scoped, you can land an entire burst on an enemy, and it will usually take it down unless it is a badass or higher.

Well, team up the Dahl Slag Sandhawk and the Bee and that makes for an awesome combo. Reminds of the old days with the Conference Call and Bee shield before Gearbox nerfed the bee.

The SandHawk was pretty good. (The bullets useually moved to an enemies head :p ).

I personally love dahl weaponry aside from shields and snipers. Generally too focused on taking down enemies to go run for the rare-ish shield booster, and dislike the ammo consumption of the snipers, although some fire in a slow enough burst, like the sloth, to unzoom before a full burst goes off.

I'm doing an almost pure dahl playthrough on a commando right now tbh.

Teapot (less of a bullet hose than the hornet), Emporer, Seraphim, Omen (for reasons stated above), Crossfire, Antagonist (see above).

but while we are at it... Lascaux, anyone? One of the best guns to casually pick up on your playthrough? no? just me ok..

and the sand hawk is easily one of the best guns in the game, as mentioned by others here already two years ago

There is no way I am not going to grab that SMG, for something just laying there in the water (hmm, awesome gun is not jamming after that LOL).
