Mordercai's Sniper or Moxxies Pistol?

pistol all the way, it heals for 12% dmg, and if you get a slag stat on it you will really be glad to have it if you play a melee character. mortys rifle is always some green crap.

Definitely take Rubi (the pistol from Moxxi). Not only does its direct damage heal you, but also any other damage you do ('nades, status effects, etc) heal you for 12% of the damage done while Rubi is in your hands.

Always go with Moxxi, her weapons heal and Rubi is a beast.

I always go with Mordecia on Normal cause I support his cause, but Moxxi on TVHM/UVHM because her pistol is so much more useful than the sniper rifle. Especially since Mordy gives you the Trespasser sniper rifle around the same time which blows the Sloth away!

Rubi is perhaps the single most useful mission reward in the game. It isn't that the Sloth is too bad, not at all, but it just can't compete with Rubi.

Kinda sad for Mordecai though, his bird just died and then he can't even drink his problems away 'cause Moxxi gives better gear...

If anyone's feeling emo about Mordecai, you can swap the Rubi you have from previous playthrough or somehow magically duplicate it. It's level is almost completely irrelevant as the only thing that scales with it is damage. It's not like it's there to shoot with it, right ?

Well, if you got a Slag Rubi (and you should) you sorta want to shoot with it.
