The minimum level for it is 30 (as in they scale everything on Normal Mode to lvl 30 players). If you've done all the side-quests you should easily be over that by the time you kill the Warrior.

It took me a bit to figure out how to get to Tiny Tina's DLC too, since I had unlocked all the other fast travel stations, they just find of joined the mess and I didn't notice the new ones.

I always start it at level 28 with Maya, she does fine.
