My Dead Brother Quest Question (Spoilers?)

I'm on the My Dead Brother Quest on the new DLC, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep and I'm wondering, what happens if you kill Edgar, and what happens if you kill Simon? I Googled it, but there were no answers, I guess because the DLC is so new. Help, anyone?

If you kill the guy that gave you the missions, you get a crappy assault rifle, if I recall correcly. Wasn't at all impressed by the loot. In terms of 'what happens', they both turn red but won't attack, and once you shoot one the other helps you. Bit like the clan fued in the dust where you choose Zafords of Hodunks.

Next time I'll just kill the guy I've been hunting during the mission, to see what the shotgun reward is like.

I killed Edgar, the one you were supposed to kill all along and got some blue shotgun. I didn't really look at the stats, but they didn't seem that great anyway.

Ok, so nothing special for the rewards. Does this answer your question concerning what happens, or were you referring to something more?

I guess I meant more like, what rewards would you get depending on which you chose, but yes, my question was answered. It seems like nothing too spectacular either way. Thanks c:

If you kill the guy you've been hunting all along, you will get the Three Way Hulk shotty. It's not a /bad/ shotty, per se, but you most likely are already carrying one that is better.

I think both guns are crap anyway. Think I saved the fire guy cuz he was more chill, and got an assault rifle?

Interesting question. As in the Zafords and the Hodunks, they normally drop crap, but they do have a chance of dropping legendaries. Be interesting to find out if these two follow that pattern.

I'm gonna kill Simon, or the guy who gave us the quest. He wanted to kill his bro just cuz some chick didn't want him and went for Edgar (his bro) instead. Like wtf? What kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ brother is that.
