Mysterious Amulet

So earlier I bought the Mysterious Amulet and wore it unlocking the achievement, what I'm wondering is if there is any other use for the thing that anyone has found? ^^

If you are playing with others, you will have some sparkling hearts etc, like a trail behind you.. That's all i know

From what I have read, while playing with others it buffs the effects of what faries do. I'm not sure if that means the effect is more pronounced (ie. ammo regens faster, health regens faster, you run faster than what you normally could with the fairy buff) or if the eefect lasts longer, or what. Some also theorized that it may have to do with the alter that you can sacrifice items on at Dragon's Keep. Some think it has to do with the Jakobs shotgun "Striker" since the flavor text reads "Fandir? Thirteen." and the clue given to you by Mr. Miz is "The secret lies in Fandir's grasp."

interesting, but what is fandir? is it a reference? a quote? a different language?

i killed a few monsters with the striker while wearing the amulet but theres nothing strange. absolut normal.

but i like the hearts and so in the multiplayer ^^

No one knows. When I tried to investigate all I saw was that the clue given to the player may be a reference to the shotgun itself because Gearbox was blitzed by fans when they tried to figure out what Fandir was. So this may be a continuation of a mystery with no answer, just to drive the fans nuts.

It says all losses are restored and sorrows end, he also says you'll find out what it does soon enough. Maybe it turns down the rez fee?

personally ive found no use for it,when wareing it u have love hearts ect around those that have it on also wat it does when u die it practically halfs or alters the amount u pay in fees as u are respawned,other than that it has no hidden abilitys in other words just anchievment iteam that u can spread amongst ya mates ect so they get the achievo waist of space inventry in my opinion,but as we know it could have a speciall ability that were all dumb to recognize lol

You can use the amulet for the loot chests with the dices. While you wear it, you get the extra points of the amulet added on the points of the loot chest when rolling the dices. You'll have a higher chance for good gear of the chests, that's all.
