How am I actually supposed to deal with the Badassasaurus?

Because I'm level 54 Mechromancer, it's level 52.
I unloaded everything I had into it until I literally couldn't afford ammunition any more, got it onto like...a tenth of its health.
And then it killed me.
I wasn't in the arena at the time, but it killed me, and given there is nothing to Second Wind off of and Deathtrap refuses to attack it a whole lot of money and time was just wasted.

I mean...seriously. What?

Yeah, I really don't like that fight because his armor reflects nearly all shots. So I hide behind the door scoped moving and shooting short bursts, but that takes a looong time.

if you have the dp unkempt harold the fight should be over in half a minute or so.

bee and dp kempt harold behind barrier step to the side of wall after a few shots and repeat,time the shots though as they will reflect back at u

just tried him again with bee, dp unkempt harold and the relic that gives 30% splooosion damage bonus: took me less than 20 secs plus he dropped the slow hand.
btw. today i got ridiculous luck and found 2 legendaries and 2 uniques in ~1 hour without even trying. that's more legendaries than i found in 200+ hours.

tried him AGAIN as Zer0 with lvl 50 bee shield.
Threw kunai and shot him with dpuh. 9 seconds.
Double penetrating unkempt Harold is probably the most ridonculously overpowered weapon in the entire game.

I died my first time against him, and revived in the lobby. So, I just threw grenades into the arena, and ran back to the vendor to buy more when I ran out.

Assuming they play with the latest update (Bee is nerfed and Evil Smasher is fixed), I'm quite sure that the only way to do it in less than 30 sec is to fight him in TVHM with a 55-61 character.

However, I would be happy to be proven wrong. Our two fast killers could post a video. It's easy : Fraps free version recording limit is 30 sec. Fortunately, it would be enough for our 2 fast killers to offer us a nice show of their heroic deeds. Provided they can do as they say, of course.

where's the problem?
unkempt harold is beyond overpowered. try it yourself.
put on lvl 50 bee shield, use lvl 50 double penetrating unkempt harold plus explosive boost relic = win. cheap win, but win.
9 seconds, no joke, no bragging.
Edit: I'm not sure if Zer0's Bore skill matters in this fight. I couldn't hear the typical sound it makes. I think that Bore is broken cause I killed Motor Momma's bike with 2 or 3 bursts from
the Blitz Scorpio once, which is kinda silly.
