Problem With Pyro Pete

When I enter area to spawn Pete for farming in "Normal" mode I have no issues.
But when I enter area with same character but in TVHM, there is no button to push to spawn him. Am I missing something. I killed him twice in TVHM already, but now he is not there anymore,,what's up?

you can only defeat pyro-pete once every 24 hours post-patch :/

the button will appear in 24 hours from the last time you defeated him.

This is on PC. I can do it over and over again in Normal mode, but when I enter in TVHM, the button isn't even there. Was over a week since I beet him in TVHM as Invinsible. But since I turned that in, everytime I come back..no button.

I have killed Master Gee and the Hyper. dude many times in TVHM...solo. I don't do the MP thing. Should not be an issue trying to go back and kill Pete in TVHM. Have had no issues anywhere else, just with him in TVHM. Something is glithy or I am missing something.

Also, Master Gee is in a different DLC then Pete.
And even if I had this timebug thing on the PC, there would still be a pole with the button to push and summon Pete. This doesn't even exist.

Have you got the quest on tvhm to kill him the first time?
I found the same issue before, i was going to help a friend and when we got there there was no button, he didnt had gotten the quest from moxxi yet...

Yea, I have restarted many times, swithced to another character...all works fine in Normal mode...but when I spin up TVHM...no pole or button anymore.

Getting this issue on all the seraph bosses (pete,hyper,voradacious not terra) kill them once and it blocks you from any mote attempts!!!! i believe its an issue that was supposed to have a temp fix.apparently this is not working as it should be,restarting doesnt work,or trying with other players.still waiting for that permanent fix,a pain really if u have completed TVHM as the game is stagnant if you cant loot the bosses you have nothing to aim for.

Hope it gets fixed if it is an issue. I can farm all other booses on TVHM, just not Pete.

Here is what you do. Go in, own pete, then suicide with a rocket launcher. U will spawn back by the machines, go back down there and you can restart him. You will lose a percent of your money but a great way to get skins and some legendaries. You can do it endlessly, after about 10 times you won't be able to see the floor from all the loot

You can also let the elevator platform crush you. Same affect, saves the time of having to re-buy launcher ammo.:;)

Pete can be done endlessly that way on the PC, whether or not the Master Gee quest is in the log (mine is - haven't managed to kill him yet). I'm pretty sure you can re-do him simply by re-logging into the game, as well.

Trouble isn't killing Pete or spawning over and over...issue is not being able to even summon Pete. As stated in my other posts, the pole w/the button that you push to summon Pete does not exist in the TVHM mode. Only get pole/button while in Normal mode. Either a glich in the game or I am missing something to get the button to appear.

if this button not exist u have NOT finished the quest. u dont bring the quest to the NPC. or u have a corrupted file. This is ONLY a failure of YOUR Game.

If u Cant fix, safe the SaveGame file and reinstall dat game.

nope, but haven't been back there in ages..or even played it in awhile..moved on to newer games

There are two versions of Pete in Mr. Torgue's Campaign. The first is a minor boss (Pyro Pete) that must be defeated to progress in the main story. The second, Pyro Pete the Invincible is not accessible until you complete the main story and get the new mission "Pyro Pete the Invincible" from Mad Moxxi in her bar. The summon button will not be available until both conditions have been met - main story completed and new quest from Moxxi.
