How do you dupe items?

I'm probably the last person here who doesn't know, but how do you dupe stuff?

As for why I'm duping... I just want to copy a few legendaries I only have one of so I can distribute them across my characters.

No, really, I just want to dupe some stuff I already have so I can distrubute them to other characters, not make my own items from scratch!

Still though, that thing you have is kinda impressive regardless.

Oh no, not mine. The guy who runs that blog made it. I just hate seeing how people want certain items and go around grinding, wasting lots of time and in reality wasting their lives getting a virtual item they could make in 3 minutes or less with that editor. I heard of people grinding for days because a certain boss has a 2% drop rate on certain items.

But back to duping, take that save editor. You can copy your charcter as-is, or even select an item and hit a button to duplicate that item and place it in your pack. 5 clicks, 5 identical items. You can also scale their level to each player.

Yeah....

Still, I don't really have any idea on what words result in what parts, and I don't wanna end up screwing the game because of it.

That, and I'm not into modding games, either (Lack of know-how and such).

Hi edo309... Really sorry for having misgiuded you... The method I gave you is'nt working, thougt I did it that way before solo but did'nt remember it right. Must have been in CO-UP... This is what I do when I dupe solo. This is working guaranteed! I take a copy of my safe file - Go ingame and put the item in the locker, then quit and safe - Then when I'm In Borderlands I select an other caracter or else I can't overwrite the safe file on the caracter I want to dupe from - Then ALT+TAB I take my original copy file and overwrite the file with the file in my safe game folder - Go ingame again - select my caracter and continue. Now I have a copy in the locker and the original in my inventory...
