Best assault rifle

All assault rifles so far are completely useless. Need something like Hyperion Destroyer or Dahl Raven in the game. I'm just wondering why Hyperion stopped making combat rifles. It's funny seeing the Hyperion employees using Dahl & Torgue weapons LOL.

If you want a good Assault Rifle (easily the best), go find a Hammer Buster. Jakobs Assault Rifle legendary with its special effect being extremely outstanding damage. It is my lucky weapon and has never failed me.

I really like rolands assault rifle. I have regular, fiire and corrosive lvl 50 variety. Just save the tell everyone that Roland is dead mission until you are 2.5 tvhm.

The answer to you question is of course; 'it depends'. Good suggestions have been made thus far, but I am partial to Vladof assault rifles due to their high fire rate (easily substitute for SMGs). Look for either a 'Swift" (very high rate of fire, decent damage, slightly more accurate) and/or the 'Ferocious' (high rate of fire, higher damage, less accurate) variants of their rifle. I carry the latter almost always.

The Vlaldof shredifier is a beast due to its rate of fire and high capacity magazine. I use it on my gunzerker and it tears through enemies just as the name suggests.
