Sanctuary Gold Chest... Legendary Guns...
Like the title says. Has anybody ever gotten a Legendary from the chest. I saved all my keys till I was level 50 and I used 28 with no luck. Is it even possible to get a Legendary...

No, you can't get legendary from golden chest, only purp and e-tech

The short answer should be no.
I have seen the chest being open many times (more than one hundred times), and I have never seen a legendary item. I assume it is a no. (I on the other hand have not used one golden key yet)

I opened that chest at least 60 times, and never got a single legendary item.

Aw that suks. I was led to believe if you save all your keys till your level 50 then you had a shot at some Legendary Guns...

Randy Pitchfords wife gave out a key on twitter and said something along the lines of 'good luck and I hope you get an orange'. Make of that what you want. Ive never seen one.

Best chests for me have been the ones beside Terra, ive had loads of orange from them.

There's something I don't get then. You can basically get any rare type weapon in any chests. This Golden Chest requires special keys in order to activate. Shouldn't this chest give you the best shot at getting Legendary Weapons... Otherwise what's the point if you can't...

It's always gonna give you something good. The problem is, at the later stages of the game, chances are you have something better.

But, I agree, it would be nice to get a legendary volcano out of it or something of the like.

no legendaries ever come out of chest..you do however get a damn decnt gun for your level that in some cases could be better tahn a legendary ...I used the chest till i started getting better legendaries,or for my lower level toons that needed just a lil better gun rocket launcher shield or grenade mod ..legendaries drop from bosses and have extremely crazy drop rates the rates increase with party size but im not saying it goes up by 15% it still takes a while to "farm" theese bosses

Me too. I saved mostly all of them and just to find out you can't even get a legendary really suks...

Not anything in particular. Just the thought of using the chest and getting a Legendary Gun excited me...
