Anyone else slightly disappointed? Its like they came straight out of Concord lets just hope the writing is at least decent but my expectations are basically nil.

i don't care about b4 hunters and b4 story.

however, if b4 also allows players to make their own custom vault hunter with several preset personality templates (like ttwl and saints row games, since gbx hired the remnants of volition developers), maybe i'll consider getting b4 on sale to make og b2 gaige lookalike character and have fun just focusing on b4 gameplay while detaching myself from b4 story muting dialogues and skipping cutscenes.

i don't care about b3+ canon anymore since b3 writers break and disbanded b2 hunters's bond between each other and the crimson raiders main casts.

I like the Siren and the buff looking guy, the other dude looks really bland and the second girl looks like she has a jet pack which could be interesting.

Have had the series since day 1. BL 2 is by far my fav , "PRE and BL3" was a step backwards for me. Care not about DX12... nonsense. Just make a good comic book game! All BL is.

I think we're going to get custom characters like in TT Wonderlands, if you look really closely at the trailer you can see that there's a point in the trailer where all the legendary are shown that the siren doesn't have her siren marks and there's another where the Viking guy is pulling out the axes and it shows black skin with the default outfit.

Meh ... they all look both overly generic and overly designed. Which is a deeply weird combination to achieve but ... there you go.

I think I'll wait to see what their skills are like. So far BL2 has had the best mix of vault hunters. Didn't really gel with any of the characters from 3. Zane was the best of that bunch. His teleportation and guns randomly firing the equipped grenade skill were pretty cool.

What really gets me is the hairstyle on the non-Siren female. If I were black, I'd be insulted that my race is always depicted with the same ye-ye ass haircut.

Pretty much, at this point, being excited for the next Borderlands is on the same level as being excited for the next Star Wars or the next Marvel movie. Anyone with a brain knew it was going to be ♥♥♥♥ before it was announced.

Just about the only way Borderlands 4 can be good at this point is if the main villain is Flyboy's nephew and he speaks entirely in Brainrot Gen Alpha slang.

Just go all-in on cringe so hard it circles back around to being unironically hilarious.

To be honest the man at the end of the trailer where he lights up the vault I wouldn't be surprised if that was handsome jack for literally no reason other than they can't create a good villain anymore

even if the b4 main villain is revived handsome jack or some other clones of him like tftb ai jack, he looks too serious like b1.5 zarpedon and b2 lilith dlc's hector (because lilith dlc was released near the same time as b3, i assume b3 team was the one working on it). i expect that the b3 writers' writing would make the 'revived jack' be too different from the og b2 jack, b1.5 jack and tftb ai jack.

the classic casts are basically long gone from the franchise since b3.

What went into making Handsome Jack was a combination of Anthony Burch's writing and Dameon Clarke's acting.

Don't think that lightning will strike twice. Finding a really good voice actor would help though.

I would hide in a shack on top of flyboys landing pad just to hear that slang again
