Regardless of class you'll have a gear selection capable of completing the storyline, if you're lucky you'd be able to beat the invincibles.
If you're really struggling there's always a last resort gun, the Unkempt Harold that you can buy from Torgue machines around crater. It's going to make witch doctors a joke.
I'm sure there's a lot of people that would not agree with me, but I too find these enemies broken as hell. They are not chellenging, they are cheap and frustrating unless your gear is decent or better.
- the Witch Doctors : they have powerful attacks (but easy to avoid) and most importantly they can level up the other savages. Always better to avoid a fight against a bunch of 64-65 mobs. Good thing with the Doctors is that they have low health. Move quickly, come at close range, with a good shotgun or pistol, they're down in seconds.
- the Hunters (ranged attackers) : Their spears can quickly deplete your shield and they have a paralyzing effect.
The Warriors (even badasses) are not so tough. Try to flank them (like you would do with spiderants) so that you avoid shooting them through their shield.
Also think of cleaning the sky of spores before fighting savages (or kill them above the savages). Spores are like Rakks or Surveyors, they know how to complicate things. :-)
