Gameplay topics are evergreens. The fact that I found this thread while searching, in 2021, for help on this exact topic is evidence.

Chastising players for "necroing" threads is one of the more moronic things I see people doing in the community.

When people ask for help, help them and walk away. Or, don't post at all. If you don't want to be a jackass, then those are your two best options.

Every online community is different. Steam prefers that you start new threads rather than necro old ones. Old ones can contain out-dated info that's no longer relevant at best, or actually detrimental at worst.

A topic is a discussion. There is no point reviving an 8 year old discussion, the people involved in it will not reply. Necroing is just bad. At the very least, if you resurrect a thread make it clear that you are doing so: "Hey guys I know this is old but I have the same problem...".

The guy that necro'd doesn't even have the same problem, he was wondering if he was underlevelled. Just do a new Bunker thread if that's the case, folks would be more than happy to help.
