Hmmm. I'll go check. Thanks.
Thanks for any help
Thanks a bunch, man. Appreciate it.
This... just..
You do realize that this is a game? You are supposed to be having fun right?
I suggest you not play this anymore, you are treating it like some sort of chore you are having to do.
I enjoy Borderlands 2. I've got close to 300 hours in it, and I'm expecting to get even more. What I'm not happy about is having to run through the same section I just got done clearing this morning -- if I had known I needed to start a certain mission in order to get the daily target, I would have started the process before heading for Magnys Lighthouse.
And yeah, these daily targets are kind of a chore. I'm only looking to get as many entries in the contest as possible, and having to grind in order to get them is a bit tiresome.
Or, just load up that character in normal or TVH mode and kill him. It doesn't matter what mode the game is set at, as long as he is killed. This also isn't the first time there has been a daily target that required a side mission being accepted/completed. If you don't have a character that has completed all the sidequests in TVHM (or at a minimum, normal mode), I'd suggest getting one. You have 300 hours in, I imagine you have a character that has done all missions in one playthrough or another.
Finally, the statement "if I had known..." makes it seem like you want the devs to give you some specific insight on what the next target is. Gotta say, tough nuts. They aren't going to tailor the target to your specific needs or quest completions.
I wish that they would give us a bit more warning like: You should have this much of the game/DLC finished by this date.
As for me, I have about 700 hours in and I haven't finished the sidequests. In fact, a few characters (Specifically the ones I'm using for the contest), I haven't finished the DLCs.
Why? Because I normally play on other people's games. So I do the sidequests on their games, not my own. But kind of hard to find a game that is specifically hunting for said bosses (and wouldn't mind me killing said bosses) when i have like 20 minutes to do so before heading to work (Never know what might happen. I could get into a car accident and be unable to return home that day-wouldn't be the first time for me). Especially since I try to get at least 30 community kills before I go to work which is hard enough without having to do about 10 minutes of questing. Then I normally try to hit 200-500 community kills after I get home (I only succeeded once since normally the community kills complete before I hit 500). I like my weekly average to be 150-200 per day for personal reasons.
Luckily, I'm so insanely overpowered that it is quite easy to switch to UVHM, get to the boss then switch to OP8 (It seems that OP8 uses the same quests and world as UVHM+0. Unfortunately, not everyone can just do that. Normal loot is junk. TVHM loot is junk. And some people only have UVHM, not OP
Well, here's the thing: out of the three alts I have right now, one just started UVHM mode and hasn't gotten to the Pirate's Booty content yet, the second is a vanilla character that hasn't gotten to the PB content yet, and the third had literally just finished running the primary Magnys Lighthouse mission this morning. I didn't find out about the daily kill until after that.
If I actually had an alt with quick access to Magnys Lighthouse, I certanly would have used it. That's just common sense.
I don't see why asking for basic information is such an unreasonable request. It'd be nice to just get a little bit of a heads-up about what we should expect when we start a daily mission.
