I'm sorry, WHAT?! [TK Baha's Halloween themed Bloody Harvest DLC]
They seriously JUST came out with the Game Of The Year edition, and then they add MORE DLC's? Man, I was waiting for the GOTY version so that I wouldn't have to pick and choose DLCs after buying the base game. And it says "Part 1"! So there's more to come.
On the bright side, this means there's still more content to come (Yay!) and everyone loves extra content! It's nice to see a game's developers continue to put work and effort into a game that their fans love.
Anyway, that's my two cents... all both of 'em. Discuss!

Sup guys! It might be a wrong discussion for this kind of qwestions, but i simply don't know where i shall ask it. Anyway, i'm from Russia (sorry for my english in advance xD), and i just can't buy this DLC :\ I've tryed to equire about this, but haven't found the answer, maybe some of you know why TK Baha's DLC is not available for me in Steam?
Markava 2013 年 11 月 16 日 上午 9:12
It's not a very large DLC though, you can do without it.
Unless you want a pumpkin head and slightly more T.K. Baha, anyway.

That's not a fact. Borderlands 2 is an improvement in almost everyway over borderlands 1. The car handling in the game was never good do to begin. I try going back to borderlands 1, but I can't it's so out of dated feel keeps me away. I forgot that running in that game feels the same when you're walking lol.

Yes the mechanics of the game are improved but the game itself is a leap behind in content and the way the story is told. Running is improved so what? The cars are brought back for what reason? You don't even use them. Again your point is that the game is far better because I can run and it "feels" like running? Why the hell would I like to run if at every turn all I see is how bad the game is? And again, the DLC's in the first one actually were more conected to the initial story and not as detached like these were. How did they tie in the story with BL2? Oh by mentioning the final boss like a ton of times. So, essentially you fought the same jackass through the entire game. So, if your goal is to kill the same bad guy over and over and over again how is that new content? It is not... I'll take bad game mechanics with a great story before I take getting gypped of my money for the same thing with more of the same stuff over and over and over again. The point is Gearbox blew it they had a great game and smeared it all over some new game with a whole new level dynamic and then called it Borderlands 2.

That was just one of many points. The mechaincs in the first game weren't that good but still good enough. You run a lot in this game, I don't know what you're talking about. You see bad everywhere? I don't see that. Just cause you didn't like the story doesn't mean it was bad. I loved it and all my friends who played it also did. They said it was very funny and fun to play much more then the first game. The first game's story was too plain and simple compare to borderlands 2 in were did focus more in the writing. To each their own. Gearbox did a great job on this game. Take it or leave it.

Last DLC I bought was RODP, it's definitely getting a bit stale IMO. Good times though.

I won't be buying any of this junk.

I'm even more disappointed that they still haven't fixed the main game/upgrade pack issues, so I wont be spending my money on anymore of their DLC etc.

Also making bad decisions like nerfing zer0's Kunai - awesome job!

While gunzerker can play 4 player co-op, solo one-shot-insta-explode everything & run ahead of every other player/character to do it.

Seems like it's more about making as much money in as short of a time as possible from a game nearing the end of it's popularity. GOTY released around the same time as the Loot Hunt then another 'cheap' DLC, with more to follow.

Borderlands 2 has evolved into Audrey 2.

I think the GOTY was really aimed at people who passed the first time around and the loot contest and headhunter packs are the final revenue stream for the title. I'm amazed that after its release I'm still playing this game and buying stuff. I agree though the game is completely broken and I treat it as such. Its more of an erector set now than anything else.

Once Wottle Gobble and the X-Mas pack comes out I think it will finally die.

This is why I don't like forums, when a game is new the fans are using them, and complaints mostly make sense, by the time the game is a year old the forums takes a dive. I see the GOTY means all content crap all too much. GOTY = the game is one year old, NOT it has all content that ever was and ever will be. GOTY on other games do have it all, but that is most times because all the content was finished before or within a couple months of release. Borderland 2 has had a long run of added content, I am not going to complain.

Head Hunter packs, what DID you expect? Did you think you were getting a large map with a rich full story and a Sniper rifle called God Of Thunder that can one shot the Warrior? It's THREE FREAKING BUCKS, what DID you expect? Go buy three bucks worth of beer and see what you have the day after you drink it.

The add on content I think is priced nicely, I have paid twice that for add on content for other games, content that some times sucked on other games, like <shudder> Blood Moon for Morrowind.

Is Borderlands 2 a bit broken, oh yes IS, did the devs warn about breaking the game, oh yes they did. UVHM is a train wreck that some how I keep revisiting, why I keep on doing face plants on a brick wall is something I don't understand, TVHM is more fun but I keep going back to that train wreck called UVHM.

At the end of it all, I feel *I* got *my* moneys worth with all I have spent on Borderlands 2, your mileage may vary, if you feel cheated, so sad too bad I feel for you but can't quite reach you.

I agree. I have put over 3,000 hours into Borderlands 2 & still play it, although not as much. It's become increasingly broken & more apparent with the upgrade packs. There are a lot of issues, but it's being drip fed by dlc's while it ages & it seems they were/are more focused on making money rather than repairing what's broken.

Borderlands 2 reminds me of the days I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of Quake 3 Arena. It was one of those games you could just jump into with friends and have a blast. To this day I'll launch DM17 and have a little Rail fest. I can see myself jumping into B2 years from now for the same reason.

Maybe down the road when the content train comes to a stop, Gearbox will come out with a "Platinum" version that's patched to fix all the UVHM shenanigans.

Bubbacho? also an oldschool q3 fan? :) I used to play the game from 1999-2005 every day for hours xD Found one of my demos on youtube vs Russia ;D

And yeah, dm17 is just awesome when it comes to rail!

1) The TK Baha's DLC is no big deal, is just a couple new missions.
2) It is totally optional, and more geared towards fans of the series.
3) The DLC is cheap, just $3, less than a Big Mac combo and will last you a couple hours (more if you play it with various characters).
4) You can always wait for a sale if you really want the DLC and get it for $2 or less.
5) If you are fan of the game I really don't see why not support the company that made it. I would not buy it full price but I'll definitively get it as soon as a sale hit.
6) You already saved a lot of money getting the GOTY edition...

There's no reason to get mad for the new DLCs, unless you re one of those cheap-ass OCDs that needs to have everything on a game...

The big difference between the 3$ of a Big Mac combo and this DLC is that the Big Mac Combo may actually satisfy you unless you ned to eat three (and wheigh over 230 pounds) to be satisfied.

So where a Big Mac combo only may actually satisfy you, this DLC will actually satisfy you. Good point. :borderlands2:

Add to that that the Big Mac is temporary and will last you half an hour, while this DLC will be forever on your collection to be replayed as many times as you want until you die :bandit:

If you both are satisfied by this half @$$ DLC then grats but one quest line plus one crap raid boss to me is not worth 3$.

Personally I enjoyed the TK Baha DLC, I really like the music they used for it As well as its concept. But I guess thats just me. Though I wouldn't have minded if it was free.
AimDrifter 2013 年 11 月 22 日 上午 9:36
I wouldn't mind paying for a complete DLC but this one just seems 1/16 done and it costs 1/3 of a regular DLC. The skins added to it are "Meh..." and the quest and it's area are too short. I am one to praise Gearbox when they do it right... but this DLC makes them look more like Activision and less like a company that cares about the gamer experience. I can say this though, if they had added all the new gameplay mechanics to the first Borderlands that game would have been a much superior sequel.
