To add some options to NewTroll's: The Sham, Evolution or a purple adaptative shield, Rough Rider, etc.
Absorb shield (purple or Sham if you can get it), Adaptive (Neogenator or purple- they can add health, too), Antagonist (buy with Seraph crystals in Tiny Tina), Hoplite for heavy heavy fire (seraph crystals in Torgue), Black Hole (or purple nova shield - but not as helpful) and Cracked Sash (you just have to find it - pretty rare. Can substitute with the generic "Shield" that is a fairly common find - they have really short recharge delay and incredibly quick Recharge rate. Do not confuse these with the "Quick Shield". They're crap. )
The Bees are nice for the weapons buff, but it's of no use 98% of the time because any stray bullet nullifies its buff and you still have to shoot things until it recharges. So since you're almost always shooting without the buff anyway, you're better off with a shield that keeps you standing while you shoot.
When I'm healing with my siren I switch out to a different shield.
I always use bee with my siren, jsut stay at good distance of ennmys and your friends to regen thme or revive them .
Same here, 1,100 hours and I use the Bee exclusively with all six of my capped classes (72). I am well aware of the builds regarding each character, (Sham, Hoplite, Love Thumper, Rough Rider, ect.) but I just love the gaming dynamic of the Bee. I admit I am a Bee wh*re.
Build geeks will ramble on about how the use of this shield is a cheap tactic (unbalanced) but I absolutely love the DPS the Bee unloads. I am completely aware of better builds and I have used them infinitum. I simply choose not to, and the results speak for themselves.
