Stuck in Boss Battle with Wilhelm.

I hate robots! I'm basically stuck in a boss battle with Wilhelm. After countless tries to kill him, I'm low on ammo and I can't fast travel out of the area. There's also this huge ledge I can't seem to get up. I've tried using the command console to cheat my way out so my lvl 15 assassin won't be stuck there forever and I'm not using the damn tracker. The command console isn't cheat friendly either. Please help!

Find yourself a corrosive nade mod and a good rocket launcher and corrosive weapons to kill him.

The Wilhelm fight is going to be pretty tough if you don't have corrosive weapons.

Also, the surveyors will heal Wilhelm.

My suggestion is get get a corrosive weapon or some co-op friends and the fight will become much easier.

If you have a "Corrosive" weapon use it! That's the best way to destroy ANY 'bot! Otherwise you are just "pi**ing into the wind!

Maybe you arent strong enough do some quests get lvl and try it again

Go get a teapot from tiny tina first and get a good shock weapon for his shield too.

You should be able to get out of there by joining someone else's game. Can leave right after that.

And yeah, recommend doing Tina's tea party mission line for a Teapot.

You can leave through the one way waypoint even if you dont kill him. You will jsut have to fight you way back from the rgeular WP which in this case is really easy. since you start right at the train wreck. Just a few robots to take out.

It clearly sounds like you are not geared correctly for the fight. So, before you blow all you wealth dying, I would get out, find out a corrosive weapons and try again when you are ready. There is a quest from Tina that gives a solid corrosive pistol that would be really helpful. If you still need help or a little $$ to get back on your feet, send me an invite.

I feel your pain man as this was the first point of the game where I struggled. So many failed attempt's, some were very close to killing him (Damn those surveyors) So I grabbed myself a corrosive Sniper rifle and teamed up with a few other's, much more easy in co-op. If it ever get's too hard go earn more xp on other mission's and come back, or just go find some players to team up with ;)

if you use guns on solo, it might take to long as you have witnessed. I tried the following strategy in UVHM:

- get a grenade with regen from Tina's DLC? Use them to lower his shield....
- After spawning Wilhelm, go back to the entrance road and use it to hide from Wilhelm.
- lower his shield with grenades and fire weapon (corrosive) to lower his armor....
- Wait for Grenades to regen to a few (dont wait to long)
- Repeat

Without grenades it's possible , but takes longer, just don't wait to long, if you do, his shields are recharged...

Grenades with area affect for x seconds are really powerfull. If that is not good enough, get the life stealing versions!

Area affect grandes: for one or more enemies...
Transfusion: for one enemy .... and you get healed as well... =)

Longbow version is my favorite: you can "place" the grenade before the walking enemy or at the place you want... like a constructor robot that is far away.... exellent grenade type!
