I checked just now and I don't see anything like that and my mod menu is accessible.
On the off chance that this mod is not auto enabled and thus you can't get to the mod page to turn it on , you should be able to change the Settings.json file that will be in the no ads folder , set the auto enable option to true.
Bigbaddannyboy Sorry if I'm misunderstanding , not trying to over-explain but I wasn't sure , so just in case , less dumb visuals is a blcm mod right ?
Are you intentionally loading it with SDK ?
Usually you would just press the hotkey you chose when you hex edited the game then type in Exec patch.txt (or whatever you named it).
If you are using SDK mods like Exodus SDK , there is a z_ModExtension_ in the exodus folder, you just put the BLCM files there and they will be loaded automatically , don't turn them into a combined patch.txt file just throw the lessdumbvisuals.blcm file right in there and it will work. (sorry if you already knew that)
Also https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2646114681 this guide has a section on DXVK (Vulkan) it can help with modern pc's having issues with these older direct X games , it might be worth a shot if less dumb visuals doesn't work.
Usually it's the HD texture pack causing the out of memory problems , you can disable it in your DLC section.
Ah yeah that's not gonna work , it would be like making a "bank account" folder and putting jpegs of dollar bills in there.
If you ONLY want to fix the out of memory thing just remove the HD texture pack , it was poorly made and causes problems for everyone.
To remove the HD texture DLC that causes the "Out of Memory error" this is what you do.
Right click on borderlands 2 in your steam library
Click properties
A new window will pop up , at the bottom of the window you will see DLC
Click DLC on this screen you will see a list of the DLC you have installed , to the left side you will see blue checkmarks.
Scroll down the list until your see the HD Texture Pack , click the blue checkmark to uninstall the HD Texture Pack dlc , then try playing again.
You shouldn't be getting the out of memory error after you remove the HD texture pack.
