I like the no endgame cause you can either quit or keep going whichever you prefer.
For me, don't care about showing off cause I hate MP games, so only play Coop with my son or alone.
Don't like the Slaughter rounds as those get repetitive and dull.
Money only matters as far as getting challenge for collecting money as far as I am concerned.
Love collecting eridium as I stated earlier have many more ammo upgrades and have only 36 spots in my backpack. Wanna max out everything, if possible.
2. I don't agree with any of your complaints about not being able to show off.
3 Fink's wasn't designed to be what you wanted. Sorry. There is DLC available that is repeatable.
4. Warrior and Bunker have their glitches sure, like any game boss. Try voracidious.
5. Everything Rabid was tough. You're right.
6. Currency is what it is. Yes, once you upgrade everything, eridium is useless... unless you play the DLCs.
7. Sounds like you've played the game through its original designed playthough. Congrats. There's more content availble if you want. Otherwise, enjoy another game.
I've been playing Borderlands 2 since release, and I've stopped playing after the latest DLC.
Every single issue brought by OP is either a valid complaint or very close to one. Some players should really put their fanboys back in, it's not appropriate to walk with these things dangling out like that in front of other people.
Thus said, if you enjoyed the overall setting and gameplay and you feel like it should be fun once it's a tad more challenging, I think you should:
1) grab the first UVHM cap raise. yes, charging for cap increase is a rip off, but the first UVHM level range (50-61) is the most entertaining thing BL2 has to offer.
2) find good folks to play with, you shouldn't have a major problem with that, but you should be prepared to kick a douchebag or two in process. It's really a day and night type of difference when you have a crew of jolly dudes and/or dudettes to play it with, look for ones that are not taking themselves too seriously
3) you should definitely start with a different character. This game has some serious balance issues. You can play gunzerker till the very endgame and push through entire content without even trying or paying slightest attention to where you smack these skill points.
Axton is the most balanced character in the game, while zero has the most depth to it. DLC characters suffer from poor design and even worse execution, leaving you out with very little freedom to how you play them. Maya is very entertaining in generic gameplay, but there's a lengthy list of encounters where she falls completely flat, forcing you into using some boring cookie cutter to get through.
There's an arena mission and a circle of slaugher featuring a sixth round, both can be repeated as many times as you wish. They come with DLC 2 and DLC 4 respectively. I've also patched up a simplistc script that resets 5th rounds of Fink and Hyperion arenas in the save files it's provided with.
It's nothing but a lack of foresight to not include it with the first release and blatant laziness that it was not patched in afterwards, even despite the numerous occasions it's been brought up by community.
Yet, god forbid you disagree with someone and you are a fanboy.

IT'LL MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER BUY THEIR SKINS TOO AND THEIR CEREAL AND THEIR BOOK AND THEIR SOUNDTRACK, ♥♥♥♥ GIVE THEM ALL YOUR MONEY. 10 dollars a peice, ♥♥♥♥ that greedy noise. There is nowhere near enough content to be even close to worth it. Charging for dlcs anyway is a scummy business practice let alone making it this crippled without it. I mean a class for 10 dollars? HA.
No anger included here, that'll be an extra $10
I will enjoy another game, many games that aren't greedy sluts. I hope this game dies for their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ business practices.
I wasn't referring to your reply by any means, I'm sorry if it turned out this way.
I should've made it clear that it's about the one that follows.
Got ya. I apologize for over reacting. Crummy day all around.
Yet you feel the need to tell people here, odd. When I no longer have an interest in a game and move one to another, I don't have the time nor the desire to spend time in the forum of the one I left.
Go have some green eggs and ham and relax, it will be OK (I just say that, it may not be OK).
Whell, UVH1 can feel really good. Think GOTY which has season pass and mechro is best way to taste BL2 imho.
Build choise was most in TvH btw. UVH1 introduced 2 full trees at a time, which felt kinda good cause you could "make dream come true" with two teilled at a time but let you have too much if everything... and UVH2 concluded it with spare points for good random stuff but it's all spoiled by strict "face control" to experimentation at OP :(
Really only thing that spoiling BL2 for me are mobs regeneration and OP8 execution with penalties for damage output and elemental chances levelwise, cause it redused divercity of playstyles...
