Unable to fight Dragons on UVHM

I'm experiencing a strange bug on UVHM.

I have finished the game and the Tina DLC. However, when I try to fight the dragons, it won't let me pay the 20 eridium tribute to get into the arena to fight them. If I go into TVHM and get in that way and then switch over to UVHM, the scroll has no option to summon them.

I do have a feeling of what could have caused this. Before beating the warrior, I joined a friend's game and we beat the warrior together on UVHM. When I got to that point in my game, although I didn't select the option to skip the already beat mission, the game still marked it as finished and behaved as though I'd beat the game when I saved to take a break and later re-loaded.

I'm guessing that the game now thinks I haven't beat the warrior. However, I have gone though Heroe's pass and beaten him in hopes of fixing this problem but it hasn't fixed.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, is there a way to fix it?

Have you gotten the mission from Torgue? You have to light up the quest before the alter will accept the eridium.

It's not listed under Flamerock Refuge and he doesn't give it if I talk to him (nor does he have a question mark over his head). I have a "mayham awaits, bring friends" listed as undiscovered but it's not listed as tied to any area.

Do you have any Torgue Missions already in progress? You have to complete his Missions for him to give you more.

I think I know what the problem is. I never did the "Fake Geek Guy" quest. Once I did it, the quest appeared as an option. Looks like my bad on this one.
