Been farming the Torgue machine in the arena for a DPUH. Tried about 100 times and have seen about 7 flavors of UH's but not the DP. Is it that elusive? Is there a different machine I will have better luck with?

I always use the machine in Pyro Pete's bar. Close to the spawn, easy to check, save/quit and reload.

I've gotten a DPUH after just a few tries before, and other times I had to try for half an hour. I doubt that individual machines make a difference.

problem with the DPUH is that item parts on it make such a big difference.
the jakobs or torgue handles are typically considered the best, the jakobs handle doing as much DPS as the torgue until up to about 4 shots at a 30k badass rank.
but really the other handles are basically worthless.

I still prefer the Hard Unkempt Harold. Slightly more damage output without nearly the ammo consumption. Course if you're relying on a Bee, then you'd probably want to keep the Double Penetrating.

Beats farming Savage Lee for those of us without the DLCs. I've gotten lucky though, 4 Harolds in around 70 tries including a DPUH.

I have the DP and the Crammed Harold. Both seem to work extremely well.

I've had good luck with Savage Lee too. Patience . . . :-)

I farmed him for ages on my Siren with no luck. Finally ended up buying one from the vending machine once I was high enough level.

Now I'm playing a gunzerker. The very first time I make it to the area and kill Savage Lee, he drops a level 36 DPUH for me. Much carnage followed.

410 hours here and I've never seen an orange item out of a red chest.

chests are weird, for the most its just trash then, you get one that opens and its full of orange, I had one with 4 legendary nade mods, others include b*tch and sniper rifles. but that is after opening an awful lot of them. I had a bullymong drop a DP harold in southern shelf while doing the my first shield mission.

I got a DPUH from one of the chests at the top of Magny's Lighthouse. Otherwise Pete's Bar is the place to go. Each OP level with my Zerk or Axton I would just save and quit until it popped up. And if you see something else and need more tokens you're right there to farm more.

I prefer non dp because the dp eats ammo to fast 6 bullets to every shot ,has less shots per clip, and the fire rate is lower

Funny enough I happened to be in Three Horns - Divide with my gunzerker who was level 36 at the time. rather than driving past the area Savage Lee was in, I thought I would check. Sure enough he dropped a DPUH. It splatters people at that level. Craziness.

using serker with 2 dpuh OP8 when ne cuts loose they would be better of to run the other way
