Using Cheat Engine

Heya!

So I'm playing on the UVHM with my lvl 45 Siren, but the game's pretty hard for me. I'd like to use Cheat Engine to get some more Eridium, more money and such.

So the question is, if i'll use Cheat Engine, could it cause my account to get banned? I really don't want my Steam account to get VAC ban because of this.

Use gibbed save editor and no you don't get banned, Borderlands 2 is not a VAC game.

Neither gibbed nor CE will get you in trouble, remember to kill all the CE process remains before playing any other game though, reboot if in doubt. Got my Warframe account banned this way.

Like they said: make sure you kill all CE processes before playing any multiplayer games.

However, I will say: I've used CE on a few games, and sometimes I really enjoy throwing up the cheats and running around in single-player. However, for me, in BL2, it REALLY took the joy out of it.

I'm not one of those people who's against all cheat codes or hacks. I'll still use them for off-line stuff in the future. I just felt that BL2 wasn't really right for it.

I recommend it because it is good for adding money, eridium, Torgue Tokens, Seraph crystals and Items, PLUS there is no process to be left running that can get you banned on other games, it's safer.

IF you do use it, keep in mind, you should backup your save folder and be careful what you add as you could ruin the fun. Give yourself a little help but don't go nuts and make it boring. I had many hours in before I played around with gibbed, I started new ones just for doing that, as a kind of what if, it can be fun to toy with things like that but can be a game ender, so don't over do it.

I used it to spawn mutiple vermie's had 10 on screen at the same time.lol ,Tried using it to get a norfleet but it won't drop, tried farming both hyperious and vermi with modded drop rates, all the other legendary's drop but not the norfleet

Yeah, that's what I'm looking to use on with that editor, money, and eridium; Nothing more.

Hmm...For the CE process thingy, I've been using CE on Starbound to get some irons(I kinda...over did that), and after that played multiplayer with some friends. Does it mean I could get banned from Starbound? :C
