Enemies like Savage Lee don't even have a 100% chance of dropping *anything* when slain.
Thus, RNG is RNG is RNG.
He has ~5% chance of dropping the Unkempt Harold. Much easier to purchase a Harold from the Torgue Vending Machines where you get to even choose which prefix you want.
There is no Mission for Savage Lee. You are probably thinking of Boll who drops the Fastball grenade mod.
The game seems to be messed up where even if he spawns next to the Travel Station he still goes through the spawn chances for all his other locations. Been like this since launch so it might even be intentional to make him an easier farm.
If they collide with an enemy before splitting fully, they will hit for the full force of the 7. So if it is still 1 bullet and hits an enemy, the enemy will get 7 hits of explosive damage. Or 14 hits of explosive damage with the Double accessory.
The Unkempt Harold is one of the better Legendaries out there.
Defintiely agree. The only real disadvantage of the thing is the ammo consumption, which throughout the majority of this game is irrelevant thanks to all the ammo containers and vending machines. The absurdly massive amounts of damage it does though is unreal! And the fact you can buy this monstrosity from Torgue Vending Machines is just too much to pass up. Just gather up all your Tokens and then keep respawning a vending machine till the version you want of this handgun appears.
There's only about 5 Legendaries in this game I will actively try and get, but this is the one I use on every single high level character. Maybe not the best handgun, but definitely a must have considering the meager effort in getting.
He always spawns 100% of the time after unocking sanctuary. You just save/quit and he'll always be in the marrowfield as Shinku said.
