The general idea, that I have read, is to take the Mania tree, and avoid Hellborn until you are at a moderately high level(like 25+), but I have heard surprisingly little about Bloodlust tree.
Mania and Hellborn both take strength from you being in situations that are normally bad, like being on fire, shields being down, clip being empty, and because of that, you might want to play around a bit with any build that people suggest, rather then taking them and assuming that the build is good itself with little understanding of why.

To make a Krieg I could be content with that is Level 30~ gives http://www.bl2skills.com/psycho.html#00000000000050550500005100000000000 this beast.
While it is true that you don't lose your save data, gearbox did not add any way to change character, and continue from the point that you are at in the game/levels. Gibbed alows you to do just that XD
I did search it up on youtube but I could find nothing for a medium level character.
LOL level 48. About your level 31 setup I think I might use it with a couple of minor changes. For example I wouldn't put as much in thrill of the kill, because most of my weps are ovetime damage/fast fire rate. I would also advance down hellborn before you did, and would get redeem the soul, because 1. I play coop a lot so this would be quite useful and 2. The person who I play coop with the majority of the time is quite powerful, but gets down a lot. This would be useful to keep him in while I then trigger light the fuse and kil something small so we can both get back in the game quite quickly
Thank you all for your help (shinku I did take your advice seriously and didn't just think about the gibbed thing but I deleted the rest before actually thinking about the rest of what ou said and im too lazy to reqoute it all XD)
Yeah, that Krieg Level 31 was as low level as it could get and still get Release the Beast. I too would take Redeem the Soul, even in Solo play, if only because it greatly extends FFYL time ^_^
For Thrill of the Kill, due to all the boosts Mania Krieg can get in Melee, the Overkill 'weapon' of choice would likely be a good Melee strike, preferably to the targets Critical location for that 2x damage. At very least, with 1 point, it gives Krieg some form of self healing without going critical for Release the Beast.
it really depends on your playstyle and even then you might use different builds for different areas and/or bosses.
