No you can not turn off the profanity there is however a side quest you get from a robot in which you murder a bandit DJ who uses profane language.He gives you antoher mission to collect "contraband" porn.

Sorry but it is just a slight bit daft to want to play game in which you kill and can use graphic violence that also has strong sexual indendo as well as heavy drug refrances and you want are upset by hearing "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥"? Silly very silly.Killing is wrong so therefore it is offensive to any god that says that killing is a sin to even simulate the act of killing.

It's not killing it's a game. I play around wife and grand kids who don't watch, as they're doing their thing... But I don't want a five year old grandson hearing and repeating and my wife doesn't appreciate it either. It's a viable question.

I think the closest you can get is going into sound options and reducing the dialogue volume. It'll effect all spoken dialogue, but the sound fx and music will at least still be normal.

Totally agree. Shooting at pixels is not killing or "murdering people". Listening to profanity is tiresome. More than tiresome if you have grandkids playing nearby. Unforunately, I don't know how to turn it off.

May I ask, asside from primitive religious values, is it bad for children to be exposed to bad language? It only hurts them more than helps if you keep them ignorant of their existence. If they are not prepared for the real world, the place that swears, and how to co-exist with it... how do you expect them to be successful with it? I swear, kids are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ in the future. If you do not want them to swear, then jesus don't hide them from their existence but teach them why they shouldn't, give them alternatives, or at least tell them there is a time and place. Or, you know... deal with it when they are teenagers where they are gonna start challenging you and your logic by swearing all the time and ask the same question I am now- why is it wrong?
