Why does my Gaige suddenly have a guy's voice?

I could have sworn at the beginning of the game her quotes were spoken with a girl's voice, but now the latest quotes I hear kinda sound like spoken by a guy. I even thought claptrap was starting to talk at one point... Has anyone noticed that? As far stretched as it sounds, does changing skin/head change the voice type maybe?
BTW, this is not a joke topic or a joke bait topic to get funny answers about sex change etc, I'm serious here.

If you are at or after that mission, the characters speak with Jack's voice until you reach the end of that quest line, regardless if you are sidetracking missions.
Meaning, until the quest (or rather: The quest you need Jack's voice for) is done, your Gaige will have a male voice.
