Is the Bee the best shield in game?

It's debatable. Depends on your build.

It also depends on who you're fighting. It's a very weak shield compared to most and as soon as you take any damage it's benefits (increased weapon damage) are lost. This can make it a huge liability when fighting some bosses or large groups where you can't get a quick kill and there's nowhere to take cover while waiting for the shield to recharge.

I like it though, there's something great about dealing huge damage and single shot kills against most enemies.

depends on you char its great for gaige with bss as your shield is up all the time when your killing things, its ok for maya but best shield for krieg is fotf or hide of terra, sal its the rough rider, zero depends on your build and axton is either bee or rough rider

The bee makes you a glass cannon. That's all there is to say about it, really. Good at avoiding damage? Then use it.

The Bee is a good shield, as long as you don't get hit, but the drawback is that it promotes an extremely boring playstyle in my opinion, with that said, it's very effective against armored enemies. The drawback is that it's only effective while you're at 100% shield, so as long as it's not at 100%, The Bee is basically completely useless.....

i think the best shield is the sham cause it have a good capacity, reload speed and a 94% absorb chance

Bee is an ofensive shield...is very bad at protecting you fromenemy fire...but if you learn how to use the Bee (recomend U do) you will be abe to go thru entire missions with only the bee. But is learning curve.

The Bee is the best Amp shield, and having no Amp drain makes it quite useful in some situations, or even the best in those situations.

Best shield? No. One of the better shields in the game? Yes.

A 94% Sham is similar. It has a 94% chance of preventing damage from Bullets, Rockets, and E-Tech guns while it is still up, so it is the best Absorb shield and very good defensively. Still not the best shield, simply one that has a specifc use and stats designed for it and nothing else.

There is no Best shield, just ones that stand out for specific uses.

Bee

Evolution

They are great when you know when to use them.

Rough Rider is good but that's a DLC shield, i do recommend using it with Krieg.

Rough Rider Krieg is more for Level 61+ though... or maybe that is 72+ actually. Below that, IMO, Love Thumper is more useful with its damage boost.
