updated willow tree 2?
Anyone have one? haven't played in a bit and I found one but it was out of date and wouldn't load the saves. I don't mind playing around with utilities after my 2nd or 3rd time playing lol, anyone who can help would greatly be appreciated!

What the heck is a "Willow Tree 2"?

I'm serious, never heard of that, no idea what you mean.

willow tree is a config/save editor that's been around since BL1 it does quite a bit to refresh your gameplay if you are into that kind of thing and bored with playing through a bunch. google it that would explain better. A better one is the gibbed save editor but they're two different types of beast

I see. No, I don't know anything about a config editor, but just out of curiosity, what does it do you can't do yourself?

Anyway, Cheat Engine is quite good, too, the cheat table file for BL2 should still work, I think.
You can do crazy stuff directly to the game while playing, like make boxes spawn legendaries (or any other kind of rarity), plus the usual stuff like godmode and what have you.

Quite a huge list of functions, in fact.

May be worth it for you to look into, if you haven't already.

Except for the fact that Cheat Engine can corrupt other people's save games, so play solo only if you use it.

That goes without saying. Usually. Still, better to say it anyway, sorry for not pointing that out.

On the other hand, dropping tons of legemndaries build with gibbed can sap the fun for others, too, even when they can technically ignore the loot rain.

I don't use cheat engine for a myriad of reasons corruption being the least of them. I like to play increased move speed and low gravity personally.

The Gibbed Save editor works fine for me It just won't change some things, which is why i was looking for the willow tree 2.

I know there's one out there, I just haven't been able to find an updated copy; the one i have won't load the saves.

be my guest :)
BL2 design is difficult to just jump together into the game, savegame editing can help getting on the same progress level

sometimes i can't believe how some ppl react like morrons, i start writing in the faith of reasonable arguments - then i realize that i already have wasted much more time than those who i'm replying to, who haven't spend a fraction of that time to mind about the matter in the first place - and thus i decided to meet your short minded expectations and put the damn mirror in front of you!
cheers

for those who come here to seek solutions, Gibbed's Save Editor[blog.gib.me] can equalize different savegame progresses - i might write a guide on "how-to" if there's interest in it - ofc you can do "evil"/cheaty things with it, use it with mind and reasonably!
(don't forget to backup, wrong edits can corrupt the savegame!)
