Question about TVHM and 2.5 gameplay

Hi Vault Hunters!

I have a question about leveling through playthrough 2 (TVHM) and the 2.5 that everything scales at 50 level.

Well I'm on level 55 with Axton in True Vault Hunter Mode and I'm in Wildlife Exploitation Preserve. I see on forums when you defeat The Warrior the gameplay scales to level 50 and in another sites says that everything scales to your maximun level. So, this is my question:

When I defeat The Warrior in TVHM, what's supposed to happen in 2.5? Everything scales to level 50 or to the current level I have?

Also, all the DLC campaigns scales to level 50?

What you recommend me to do?

You defeat the Warrior in TVHM -> everything scales to lvl 50 (DLCs too). And the whole UVHM scales to your level (DLCs too). So start the UVHM immediately (btw: how the ♥♥♥♥ do you still get xp in TVHM at lvl 50?!)

Well i basically asked this exact question so i think i can help. Once you beat the warrior in TVHM, you are in "2.5" and everything scales to 50...i'm thinking regardless if you are below, at, or above 50 yourself. When you go to UVHM, then everything scales to you (or so i'm told) no matter where you are. I believe it's the same with DLC, in 2.5 everything is at 50.

What to do? Go to UVHM.

Level 55, but still playing in TVHM? Do you plan to play UVHM? If so, you're in trouble. :-)

Any gear that you find in TVHM (except in the Golden chest) will be limited to level 50. When you beat the Warrior in TVHM, all areas and unaccepted missions in the main game and the four campaign DLC's will be level 50. If you entered any of the Headhunter DLC's at a lower level, they will probably stay at that lower level.

The reason that you're in trouble, if you plan to play UVHM, is that UVHM always scales to your current level, so if you start it now, you'll be fighting enemies around level 55, and they have more health (twice the TVHM health, as I recall) and health regen. But most of the gear that you got in TVHM is limited to level 50, and gear strength almost doubles every 5 levels in UVHM, so using level 50 gear against level 55 or higher UVHM enemies will not be pretty. :-)

Sorry, I explained bad (apologies), I'm on Wildlife Exploitation Preserve on TVHM, I have not yet finished TVHM, so I can't go to UVHM now. I don't intend to play UVHM, complete the side quests and all the DLC in 2.5 is sufficient for me, and then, choose another character and start again.

I'm worried for when I finish the TVHM, everything in 2.5 scales to 50, but, what happens if everything scales to my level 55 and not in 50? I hope don't have to delete my character and make a new...

Hey HASWELLCORE, I get this amount of XP farming a lot, I love compare and take the best weapons on which I have already. I was farming a lot in The Warrior, Handsome Jack wizard and in Pyro's Pete Bar Tier 3 Battle in normal mode (in this, is where I've most increased the level).

Hey there Waste_of_skin, no, I don't intend to play UVHM, when I finish the TVHM I make all my side quests and all the DLC in the 2.5 mode. When I complete all the missions in 2.5 mode I will be quite satisfied, so I go to choose another character and start again, discovering new forms of gameplay.

TVHM is generally limited to level 50. Normal enemies will max out around level 50. Bosses and BA enemies will be 52. There are some specific enemies (mostly in the Tina DLC) that can level up, and they can probably get to 55 or higher if you let them.
