am i bad at aiming or what

i swear on my days that the accuracy of the guns is obscene even when aiming with iron sights SPEAKING OF WHICH those also SUCK the barrel of the gun blocking the ENTIRE sight is there like a setting or mod or something i can use to make aiming better

Actually most guns are very accurate , find a wall that leaves behind bullet decals when you shoot it and practice a bit , maybe you are just misjudging the sights.

You should have a crosshair reticle on your screen even if you don't have a sight on your gun (check your options if you don't) , but almost all guns have some kind of sight even if it isn't a scope , are you very early in the game ? Like level 5-10 ?

It could just be that your guns are crap because of your level so they aren't spawning with all parts but even in that case you SHOULD have a crosshair reticle even when not scoped.

Check your gun , is it hyperion ? Jakobs ? hyperion guns have a weird mechanic where they start out VERY inaccurate but the more you shoot the more accurate they get until they are pinpoint accurate , it can take some getting used to but it's a very useful mechanic once you know how to use it. Jakobs revolvers on the other hand might be Iron sights with a bit of recoil , you just need to practice and get good with them.

If you are using controller the aim assist is there for a reason , tap the button to go scoped (don't hold it to fully scope) when you tap it the gun will be centered on the enemy you are most closely aiming at , once it is centered you can then press and hold the scope button to zoom in , since your aim was just centered all you have to do is aim up slightly and you are aiming right at the head.

It sounds like a lot but in practice you just tap aim , hold aim , adjust aim up slightly and you will be getting head shots all day.

If all else fails stop trying to snipe sh!t, accept that you suck at aiming ,accept that Zer0 sucks (if you are using him) and his haikus are lame and that sniper rifles are not that great.

Get a shotgun , get a rocket launcher , get an AR or SMG , play as axton , salvador or gaige and go crazy. Precision is over rated , get 2 feet away and blast them with a shotgun , throw a singularity grenade to pull everyone into a group and hit em with a rocket , throw out turrets that auto aim because aiming is hard , be salvador and be unkillable , take your time to aim.

You got plenty of options even if you aren't good at aiming (practice does help though).

im level 10 currently and it hasn't been any 1 specific weapon much easier to aim with the guns i find that have scopes/red dots (if i can call them that) i'll test some things out to see if i can get better accuracy
