What does it mean when enemies don't have the enemy icon?
I couldn't find one right now, but there's been a few times when I've seen enemies which are lacking the skull icon next to their health bars (see screenshot). Are they in any way different from normal enemies, or is it just a visual glitch?

The skull next to the health bar means that they are a couple of levels higher than you and should thus be avoided. I recommend doing more sidequests and ♥♥♥♥ like that so you won't fall too far behind

Oh, I see.
I'm usually 1-3 levels behind, but yeah, I'll try doing what you suggest. One level behind is easy, but 2 or 3 start getting annoying, especially when they're super badass or whatever they're called, they take forever to die.

Thanks for the info and the advice. ^^

I hope that will help on OP levels too ;)

The skull means that they're 3 or more levels above you, which (according to what I've read) also means that the damage that you do to them will be reduced. So, yeah, they can be trouble. :-)

I don't know if you were serious, but, FWIW, it won't help in the OP levels because:

1) Everything scales to your current level in UVHM, so you can't go level up and come back and fight lower level enemies.

2) When you play at OP 4 (I think) or higher, literally every enemy has a skull next to its health bar. It's weird seeing skag pups with a skull beside them. :-)
