Should I even keep these red text weapons?
Just a question though. I know these sorts of weapons have special effects but are they really worth keeping (besides Moxxi's) ? They're just taking up spaces in my bank. What other red text weapons are worth keeping if there's any? Thanks!

Some red text items have really subtle and not-so-useful effects. For example, Tina's Teapot is always corrosive, and the bullets have a splash-effect on them, so you can shoot nearby walls, floors, or other enemies and still have it count as a hit on an enemy. However, only a few tests showed me that this gun really isn't that powerful, and I sold it pretty quickly. Unless you have some sort of sentimental connection to the look of a gun, or an attachment to how you got it (I got a level 5 baby maker in a regular locker once :3 ) then I would suggest selling it, or throwing it away in some amusing fashion, like the grinder, or off a cliff.

The only reason that you should feel bad about getting rid of a weapon is if it's a Cobra. If you plan to farm for a Cobra, I hope you like 0.033% chances to drop.

It depends on the weapon. I'd say use the great Wizard that is Google and do some research on what guns are good for your character and then go from there. The Lady Fist (red text) is a great pistol because of that 800% critical hit damage that can be utilize by most characters, same with The Fibber. The Captain Blade weapons you get in Captain Scarlett's DLC for example are all red text but stink beyond The Rapier and even that isn't for the gun aspect but the melee bonus. Beyond trial and error i'd say use Google (it's faster than trial and error).

In general Red Text weapons are better than normal weapons and have unique traits, because of that they are valuable, and in many cases far easier to get than Legendary weapons.

When it comes to corrosive pistols it's really down to preference between Tina's Teapot, The Hornet, or the Dahlminator.

Don't forget Moxxi's Crit. It's a great gun...except for the dropping. The Bane is also worth getting rid of because of that virtual freeze in place effect, oooh that sucks.
