Argument with friend: What to do with money?
So me and my friend are playing together and he hates that im dumping all the money into slots. He is like: Dude, you are ♥♥♥♥ing addicted. And im like: There is nowhere else where to spend this money!

So the question for you: Whats the best way to spend money?

Ammo gets expensive at the endgame, 100k for rockets for example.

Slots can be very worthwhile early in the game for eridium. Extra ammo supply and storage capacity is always useful. Cash, however, is fleeting. You are charged 7% of your total every time you respawn, so keeping a hoard isn't worth it. Eventually the amount of cash you earn from enemies, as well as ammo, gun and slot machine prices will go up dramatically. There's really no reason NOT to play the slots, other than it being boring and wasting time.

Isn't 15,000 million just 15 billion? (Sorry to derail.)

it is.
You really only need money for ammo and for that slot machine. Every vendor in Borderlands 2 almost always sell only crap.

Money is plentiful and you don't need to worry about it too much. Besides the uses that everyone has posted, you can also tip Moxxi to get the Bad/Good Touch.

Early game, slots for Eridium! Mid-game, slots for fun! End-game, collecting dust!
Money is easy to get. It's also just a game. Just don't spend ALL of it on the slots. YOu do need things like ammo, health maybe, and potential equipment from the vending machines.

During the first playthrough almost all of my money gets dumped in the slots. The chance for Eridium, or even the occasional good weapon, outweigh any other use. The vending machines rarely have anything good in them, and it takes maybe two minutes to get enough money to completely fill your ammo. I'd rather spend 10k on the slots and be broke than die and lose 10k for nothing in return.

If you die while fighting Piston's blimp or Badassasaurus Rex then you're doing it wrong. Heck if you even get hit at all while fighting those two you're probably doing it wrong.

Money is pretty useless in this game, so is the things you get from slots lol.

Buy skins and/or heads at the vending machines. Try to do the the challenge Jackpot! in Sanctury. Spending money for better gear is pretty pointless, because you will find mostly better gear on the way.

In late game, like 70 - Op8, 7% of your $ each time you die + purchasing ammo, which you use like there's no tomorrow in Digistruct Peak for example, you will need many Millions $.
