Unlimited Golden Keys????

Hey guys, is there any way to get unlimited golden keys?

There is a way to make the chast not cost anything but thats called cheating and thats something we do not endorse here on steam
IMHO the loot from the cheast makes the game too easy and i find it more fun to use weapons that are dropped

Yes. You can either enter SHIFT Codes for them which even just enterring the codes from the pinned discussion will give you more Golden Keys than you'll ever use (they become all but worthless after awhile.) Or you can set your profile.ini file to read only which means every key you use will not subtract from your total, though this also means your progression with stuff like Badass Rank will also not get counted.

go to your game saves, right click your profile.bin file, properties, check "read only" go back into games, use as many keys as you want. quit / save. go back to saves, right click your profile.bin file, properties, "un" check "read only" and go back into game, you will keep your number of keys and you will keep your items. I would empty backpack prior to, so you can load all your slot with chest weapons and store in vault and then get more.

or you can check shift codes everyday.

Join a game with a friend, the person who starts it sets the level of the weapons you get from the chest. 2nd person who joins shouldn't have anything in their inventory. First person keeps opening chest and 2nd person grabs what comes out. Once they are full they quit the game. You hit alt f4 and you quit game without saving. They still have weapons and you still have all keys. But to be honest, why bother when the chest weaps are only good when you have absolutely nothing else.

I found a trainer program that I use for maxing out characters so I can play around with different builds, and one of the options on it is unlimited golden keys. You might try looking for the same trainer.

It's easy as hell.
Go find someones bin file with some 200+ keys and replace it with your own.

as far as i know the limit is 255 keys
dunno how its limited when u change the .bin file...wouldnt recommend it
here are enuf guides where u can get up to 200+ keys...and most of the stuff ull get from this chest are kind of useless imho...compared to weapons every class uses...f.e. unkempt harold,rubi etc

On PC the Limit is 999 with the Borderlands 2 Profile Editor.
