Killing the Warrior won't "reset" anything. It would allow them to start the next playthrough, but it won't have any effect on things like mission status in the current playthrough.
So you fought her before in someone else's game? If you weren't that far along in your own game, you'd need to complete the missions in your game that lead up to the point where you started playing with someone else. When you get to the missions that you completed in someone else's game, you should be given the option to skip the missions that you completed in that other game.
If that's the situation, but you don't want to play through those earlier missions solo, Gibbed might let you just mark them as finished and skip them.
