The main one I use is "Exodus SDK" , it tweaks damage resistances so that you don't need to slag stuff, instead you just use the right gun on the right enemy , if they have a shield you use shock because it's super effective on shields , then you switch to fire if they have red HP bar (Flesh) or corrosive if they have yellow hp bar (armored).
You can also use mods like "Drop chance multiplier" to rebalance the drop rates to whatever you want , set them to 10x or 100X the base rate if you just want to get a legendary every time you kill an enemy and want to quickly farm for whatever you want.
There are other mods that will gather all the loot that drops and pile it up neatly in front of you ready to be picked up like "Be gone out of bounds loot" or "Loot collector"
"Spare parts" mod , lets you disassemble guns for parts to use in your other guns , make your own random guns with crazy parts.
"No ads" mod will get rid of the annoying tiny tina/borderlands 3 in game ads.
Want a new character ? Check out the mods to play as Mr Torgue or lilith.
SDK mods are going crazy right now, so much new stuff is coming out I can't keep track of it all , best of all though , they are way easier to use than BLCMM mods, no txt file needed , no combining patches , you just put the mods in the mod folder and enable them in game using a custom mod menu. It's great.
Tbh it's not THAT hard, just feel like a chore.. And the more I play the more I find bad design decisions all around, the cracks are beginning to show if you get my drift... XD I guess I could go kill one of those raid mofos in TVHM but heh I just don't feel l like wasting time on it. Also the Neogenator come much later in the game and you need to have cleared the quest for the unique miniboss to spawn so that's quite impossible atm until progress the story by a good buncha chapters I got to the dust today and quitted there haha.
With the Python Sdk:
Atm I use spare parts, x3 drop rate (don'T rememeber the mod name and Community patch. Genuinely though the community patch would've fixed all that nonsense tbh rofl! XD
Also I still can't believe that spare parts is not in the base game , its a GUN game , can't mod/assemble your ♥♥♥♥.. It such a good mod and it was super awesome for 1-2nd playthrough! Also made old blue/purps/unique relevant ^^
Finally, too bad Exodus don't work in multi otherwise it would be nice *le sob..
hmm.......

Maybe you should re-read what I wrote.. rofl XD
I like that the enemies in UVHM are beefier because it allows me to kill them in more horrible and creative ways. It's no fun when they die en masse from a little aoe before I even get to make them suffer.....
I am playing on Maya tho, and she is kinda OP in general....
As soon as I figure out which class to take thru UVHM + OP next I may feel differently. lol
I am leaning towards Axton....
The biggest obstacle for me when I first started UVHM was that I neglected my grenades way too much. Even if you are not Krieg with bloodbath, tossing grenades willy-nilly doesn't hurt at all because by that point you are probably sitting on SDUs of up to 6 grenades in supply, if not more. So it's always good to be tossing them as an engaging tool into combat, or just a method of slag if you can't stand swapping weapons, as you will inevitably pick more of them up as you go. Grenades are also weighed in ammo boxes when you are low on them, so get used to tossing them a lot and try to keep your supply around half empty.
When you can stomach it, UVHM is so much fun in my opinion. Tubbies start dropping really interesting items, and you get so many skill points to play with that make combat chaotic and fun. Can't say the same for the OP levels after that.
You can use a grenade to not equip a certain element eg. shock grenades to remove shields or for slag.
Otherwise, without using slag or combination of skills, any guns and class mods etc would work and THAT would be boring. Purple guns are fine for uvhm and theres a ton of fun uniques besides legendaries.
If you keep going you'll see it's actually very easy.
Note: I havent played Axton in a long time but I recall certain things that helped (apologies if you already are doing this) were investing in less cooldown skill tree as well and using a singularity. consider a high % slag sniper instead of slagga and keeping in some cover. The singularity will help you keep enemies off you for a bit while CD recharges.
